About the Role

The Merchandise Coordinator plays a vital role on our Merchandising team by managing the execution of pricing and promotional strategies across our product assortment. This role ensures that every price change, promotion, and SKU setup is completed accurately and on time.

 

Responsibilities

    •  

Price & Promotion Execution

  • Own the day-to-day setup and maintenance of pricing and promotional campaigns across internal systems.
  • Coordinate vendor-funded promotions and track funding.
  • Ensure all promotional offers are accurately implemented and reflect vendor agreements.
  • Support the price match guarantee process through system updates and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pricing and promotional discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.

Product Lifecycle Support

  • Manage item setup and maintenance across merchandising and ecommerce systems.
  • Coordinate product activations, status updates, and discontinuations to align with merchandising strategies.
  • Maintain SKU-level data accuracy to ensure seamless customer experiences online and in-store.

Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration

  • Work closely with Category Managers, eCommerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, and vendors to collect and validate pricing and promotional inputs.
  • Monitor and communicate upcoming promotional timelines and deliverables.
  • Help track and reconcile vendor funding related to promotional programs.

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Support audits of pricing data and promotional performance.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in merchandising processes and data accuracy.
  • Assist with reporting on promotional impact, compliance, and profitability.

The successful candidate will demonstrate

    •  
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in merchandising operations, pricing/promotion administration, or retail support, preferably in consumer goods or appliances.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with merchandising or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the confidence to act and the curiosity to keep improving.
  • Experience in the appliance, electronics, or home improvement industry (an asset)
  • Familiarity with vendor promotional funding programs (an asset)
  • A passion for retail and the operational side of delivering great customer service (an asset)

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
