Power Boost Function

Sets the highest heat for rapid boiling, bringing three quarts of water to a boil on average nearly twice as fast as our gas cooktop.* After five minutes, the heat automatically adjusts to keep water at a rolling boil. *3000W induction element set to Power Boost compared to KitchenAid® 10,000 BTU gas burner.

Pan Size Detection

Recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan. An indicator light and sound will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected element or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.
