Most manufacturers provide 1-year parts and labour warranty. Some higher-end products might offer longer warranty periods. Start by checking the manufacturer’s web site for details or contact us here at Coast, we will be glad to help you.

Provided the appliance is a current product and available from the manufacturer, we will do our best to get it on order and delivered to you as quickly as possible.

Coast Appliances represents over 50 manufacturers and brands of appliances. We do our best to try and make sure that we have a full representation of every type of appliance you could possibly want, but sometimes there just isn’t enough space in our stores or warehouses to try and stock every brand. If there is something specific you were looking for but didn’t see, please ask us!

Appliance recalls happen rarely, but when they do it is usually best to contact the manufacturer of the product directly via their web site or by phone. They have programs and systems in place to get you the most accurate information about your recalled product.

Shopping In-store and Online

Yes, you can cancel or change your order. To do this, you will need to contact your nearest Coast branch no less than 48 hours before your scheduled delivery. A Coast representative will assist you in changes you may need. Please note that cancellation of Special Order products or changes made within 48 hours of your scheduled delivery date may incur extra costs.

After you place your order online, one of our Online Customer Service Experts will contact you to discuss the details of your order, arrange delivery and/or recommend the best course of action for installation. 
Please note that additional installation charges will apply.

We have a greater selection in store than we do online. If you are looking for something you don’t see online, that doesn’t mean we don’t have it! Please make sure to contact or visit one of our retail locations to better assist you.

Yes, with rare exceptions the prices you see online will be the prices that you see in the store.

Yes! Financing is available in 6 months or 1-year terms. Please visit our Online Financing page or contact your local branch for more details.

Delivery and Installation

If you ordered your appliance(s) online, please contact us by phone or online chat to look into your delivery status.
If you ordered your appliance(s) from your local store, please contact your Sales Expert to look into your delivery status.

Product measurements are provided in detail on the specific products page with an illustrated guide to help clarify each measurement.

Your local branch carries many replacement water and air filters. For any other parts, please call 1-866-254-6872. Business hours for our parts line are Monday to Friday 9am-7pm (EST) and Saturday 9am-1pm (EST) excluding holidays.

Order times may vary depending upon whether the product you have ordered is available in your local warehouse or not. For product that is in stock, you can expect to receive it within 2-4 days. Any product that needs to be ordered in will take a minimum 8 weeks depending on the product and manufacturer.

It’s not pleasant, but it does happen. Should your product arrive damaged, please let the delivery drivers know right away so they can note it and inform your salesperson. Depending on the extent of the damage we will make a decision that works best for you.

Removal and recycling of your old appliance can be arranged as well. Please mention that you require this service at the time of purchase and it will be arranged as part of your delivery. For online purchases – Removal can be added to your cart in the checkout process. 
Please note that all appliances being removed by Coast must be disconnected prior to pickup.

Returns and Exchanges

At Coast, we strive to provide you with the appliances that will meet your needs; however, if you are not satisfied, you can return or exchange your appliance within 7 days of delivery, under the following conditions*

  • New, unopened product can be returned without restocking fees
  • A 30% restocking fee will be applied to any open product that has been authorized for return
  • Delivery and installation costs are non-refundable
  • Additional delivery fees may apply for any returns & exchanges
  • Special Order products are not eligible for return
  • For purchases made in-store, please contact the branch
  • For purchases made online, please contact customer service

Coast does not buy or re-sell a customer used appliances, nor do we accept them as trade-ins towards new appliances.


Please note that Manufacturers, Parts Supply Companies and Servicers across Canada have been experiencing beyond normal delays due to higher-than-normal service volumes and production delays for replacement parts. Wait times may be affected and are beyond our control.

At Coast Appliances, we know how frustrating it can be when your appliances are not working as expected. We will assist in guiding you through the correct programs to speed up and simplify the process for you. Please note that we are Third Party coordinators, utilizing Authorized Servicers in your local area and initiating the warranty claim with the manufacturer for our customers.

Before contacting us, please make sure you have the following information:

  • Appliance Type (e.g., fridge, range, dishwasher, washer, dryer, hood fan…)
  • Brand
  • Model number
  • Purchase invoice # if available
  • Description of the issue with the appliance

For initiating Service when you have purchased an extended service plan through Coast Appliances, you may either follow the instructions above for Warranty Service and we will help with this process; or you can communicate directly with the Extended Warranty Company to initiate and receive updates. For service of products outside of the manufacturer warranty, we can guide you to the best options in your area; however, we are unable to coordinate out of warranty service at this time.
