Coast Appliances’ ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY Giveaway Rules
THE SPONSOR: Coast Appliances’ ANNIVERSARY Giveaway (“the Giveaway”) is conducted by Coast Appliances 8488 Main Street Vancouver, British Columbia V5X 4W8 (“Coast Appliances”) the Sponsor and Administrator.

CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on June 3, 2021 and ends on June 23, 2021 “Contest Period”). -
HOW TO ENTER
No purchase required to enter or to win. Purchases will not affect odds of winning.
2.1. Automatic Entries - Every purchase between June 3, 2021 and June 23, 2021 will be automatically entered for a chance to win. Customers who purchase during that period will not need to fill the entry form.
2.2. Form entries – any eligible participant can enter by filling the form on this link https://www.coastappliances.ca/pages/coast-anniversary-giveaway-form and completing the subscription form, filling the requested contact information and clicking “submit”.
2.3. Social Media entry – any eligible participant can enter by following the steps posted on Coast Appliances Facebook and Instagram page https://www.facebook.com/coastappliances or https://www.instagram.com/coastappliances/
To be valid, entries must be received by 24:00h Pacific Time of June 23, 2021 have a valid email address and correctly responded the mandatory questions. Limit of one entry per email address. Multiple entries for the same email address will be considered void. -
ELIGIBILITY
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario, who have reached the age of majority in their respective province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of the COAST APPLIANCES and immediate family members or persons living under the same roof are not eligible to enter this Giveaway. -
DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES
A total of THREE Napoleon BBQs will be awarded to THREE winners. The distribution of prizes and winners will be done by REGION as follows:
-ONE Napoleon BBQ will be awarded to the province of British Columbia.
-ONE Napoleon BBQ will be awarded to the Prairies, which consists of the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
-ONE Napoleon BBQ will be awarded to the province of Ontario.
The Napoleon BBQ model R425NK-1 is valued at $849.98. The winners will receive Free Local Delivery, as determined by Coast Appliances. Any other costs related to the prize are the winners' responsibility.
COAST APPLIANCES reserves the right to publish winner’s first name and likeness on social media. -
PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING THE PRIZE
ONE winner per REGION will be chosen at random on June 30, 2021. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. The winner will be sent an email with information on how to receive the prize. Every winning entry will be verified. Each winner will be contacted by email and must respond within 15days to confirm receipt of communication. In failing to do so, the winner forfeits the prize. Facebook and Instagram are in no way associated with this Giveaway. -
GENERAL RULES
6.1. To be declared a winner, the selected participant must reply to email within 15 days, correctly answer a skill-testing question, sign and return a release. In failing to do so, the winner forfeits the prize.
6.2. Each winner shall sign a release declaring their eligibility as stipulated in Section 2 of these rules; agreeing that their first name and likeness may be used for advertising purposes related to this Giveaway free of charge; and releasing Coast Appliances, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees (the “Giveaway Parties”) from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Giveaway or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
6.3. The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited.
6.4. If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Coast Appliances reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value, as determined in its sole discretion.
6.5. Refusal to accept the prize releases the Giveaway Parties from any obligation toward the winner.
6.6. If a participant makes any false statement, (s)he will be automatically disqualified from the Giveaway.
6.7. The Giveaway Parties assume no liability for any loss, damage or injury, including without limitation: (i) lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late, destroyed, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) loss, theft or damage to software or computer or telephone data, including any breach of privacy; (iii) fraudulent calls; (iv) inability of any person to participate in the Giveaway for any reason including mistaken addresses on mail or email; technical, computer or telephone malfunctions or other problems with computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software; congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing; (v) damage to any person’s computer, including as a result of playing or downloading any material relating to the Giveaway; or (vi) prizes that are lost, damaged or misdirected during shipping.
6.8. Coast Appliances reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Giveaway should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Giveaway. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Coast Appliances reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
6.9. All personal information, such as name and contact information, is collected by Coast Appliances for the purposes of administering this Giveaway and marketing communications as agreed in entry form and shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent. By providing this information, you consent to it being used for the stated purposes. Please see Coast Appliances’ privacy policy at https://www.coastappliances.ca/policies/privacy-policy.
6.10. If the identity of a participant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the participant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected participant may be required to provide proof that (s)he is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Giveaway will be the Giveaway server.
6.11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Coast Appliances. Coast Appliances is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Giveaway.
6.12. Coast Appliances reserves the right to amend the Giveaway rules or to terminate the Giveaway at any time without any liability to any participant. Any amendments to these Giveaway rules will be posted on the Website.
6.13. By entering, you agree to abide by the Giveaway rules and the decisions of Coast Appliances which decisions are final and binding on all participants. Giveaway rules – final – May 2021.
