Warming Drawers FAQ

Many manufacturers recommend food be held no longer than one hour in a warming drawer.

A warming drawer is ideal for keeping food warm between cooking and serving if you’re waiting for guests to sit down or finishing a dish. But it can do other things too, like warm plates, help bread dough rise or even warm up a towel.

At Coast Appliances we take the guesswork out of shopping for a warming drawer by carrying only brands you can trust, including Miele, Porter & Charles, Bosch and others.

Warming drawers can usually be set to temperatures between 80 degrees or so (for proofing bread dough) to 200 degrees.
