Coast Appliances’ Win your purchase Giveaway Rules
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS GIVEAWAY ALL ENTRANTS AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE RULES.
THE SPONSOR: Coast Appliances’ Win your purchase (“the Giveaway”) is conducted by Coast Appliances 8488 Main Street Vancouver, British Columbia V5X 4W8 (“Coast Appliances”) the Sponsor and Administrator. The Giveaway is open to all persons who meet the eligibility requirements set forth below.

GIVEAWAY PERIOD:
The Giveaway runs from March 10th, 2022 at 12:01:01 a.m. Pacific Time until April 6th, 2022 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time (the " Giveaway Period") at all Coast Appliances Locations and e-commerce website. -
ELIGIBILITY:
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan, who have reached the age of majority in their respective province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of the COAST APPLIANCES and immediate family members or persons living under the same roof are not eligible to enter this Giveaway.
2.1 All valid purchases following eligibility requirements below are automatically entered for the Giveaway:- Have a FlexitiCard account that is in good standing at the time the prize is awarded;
- Be the primary accountholder; and
- Have made a store purchase on his or her FlexitiCard account at Coast Appliances during the Giveaway Period.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE:
ONE single prize of up to C$5,000.00 will be awarded (the "Prize") according to eligibility. The total amount to be awarded is equal to the highest eligible purchase made at a Coast Appliances locations during the Giveaway Period, less the amount of any items cancelled or returned prior to the end of the Giveaway Period, with a minimum of C$0.01 and up to a maximum of C$5,000.00.
3.1 All eligible purchases will be entered for the Giveaway for the Prize of up to C$5,000.00 in a Cheque to the FlexitiCard account or a Credit to the FlexitiCard Account Balance the selected Entrant, according to the Rules.
3.2 In the event that a selected Entrant entered the Giveaway via the "no purchase required" method, the Prize will consist of a Purchase Voucher made out to the selected Entrant in an amount equal to the highest amount eligible to be won.
COAST APPLIANCES reserves the right to publish winner’s first name and likeness on social media. -
HOW TO ENTER:
Every purchase at Coast Appliances’ locations during the Giveaway Period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Giveaway. In the event of a full return or cancellation (i.e. all of the items that were purchased are returned or cancelled), the entry will be withdrawn from the Giveaway. Purchases made on your Flexiti Card during the Giveaway Period, or made on a supplementary card on a primary accountholder's account will count as an entry for the primary accountholder for the eligible prizes. Multiple entries will be counted as (1) entry.
4.1 NO PURCHASE REQUIRED: Receive one Giveaway entry when you enter your information using this form -
PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING THE PRIZE:
ONE winner selected at random on April 27th, 2022. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. The Winner will be contacted by email and must respond within 15 days with required information. In failing to do so, the winner forfeits the prize. -
GENERAL RULES:
6.1 To be declared a winner, the selected participant must reply to email within 15 days, correctly answer a skill-testing question, sign and return a release. In failing to do so, the winner forfeits the prize.
6.2 The winner shall sign a release declaring their eligibility as stipulated in Section 2 of these rules; agreeing that their first name and likeness may be used for advertising purposes related to this Giveaway free of charge; and releasing Coast Appliances, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees (the “Giveaway Parties”) from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Giveaway or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
6.3 The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount in cash, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited.
6.4 If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Coast Appliances reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value, as determined in its sole discretion.
6.5 Refusal to accept the prize releases the Giveaway Parties from any obligation toward the winner.
6.6 If a participant makes any false statement, he or she will be automatically disqualified from the Giveaway.
6.7 The Giveaway Parties assume no liability for any loss, damage or injury, including without limitation: (i) lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late, destroyed, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) loss, theft or damage to software or computer or telephone data, including any breach of privacy; (iii) fraudulent calls; (iv) inability of any person to participate in the Giveaway for any reason including mistaken addresses on mail or email; technical, computer or telephone malfunctions or other problems with computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software; congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing; (v) damage to any person’s computer, including as a result of playing or downloading any material relating to the Giveaway; or (vi) prizes that are lost, damaged or misdirected during shipping.
6.8 Coast Appliances reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Giveaway should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Giveaway. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Coast Appliances reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
6.9 All personal information, such as name and contact information, is collected by Coast Appliances for the purposes of administering this Giveaway and marketing communications as agreed in entry form and shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent. 6.10 If the identity of a participant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the participant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected participant may be required to provide proof that (s)he is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Giveaway will be the Giveaway server.
6.11 Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Coast Appliances. Coast Appliances is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Giveaway.
6.12 Coast Appliances reserves the right to amend the Giveaway rules or to terminate the Giveaway at any time without any liability to any participant. Any amendments to these Giveaway rules will be posted on the Website.
