  1. CONTEST PERIOD
    The Contest runs quarterly starting at the first business day, and ending at the last business day. A date being posted to this page if a final draw is selected to finish the promotion. “Contest Period”.
  2. HOW TO ENTER
    No purchase required to enter or to win. To enter, visit www.coastappliances.ca and complete the subscription form found either on the pop-up or subscribe link on the homepage footer. Fill in the requested contact information and click “submit”. To be valid, entries must be received by 24:00h Pacific Time of the last day of each month, have a valid email address and have responded correctly to the mandatory question.
    Limit of one entry per email address per draw. Multiple entries for the same email address will be considered void.Purchases will not affect odds of winning.
    2.1. Automatic Entries - Every purchase between the first business day and last business day of the month will be automatically entered for a chance to win. Customers who purchase during that period will not need to fill the entry form.
    2.2. Form entries – any eligible participant can enter by clicking on the subscribe link in the footer, filling the requested contact information and clicking “submit”. To be valid, entries must be received by 24:00h Pacific Time of the last business day of the month, have a valid email address and correctly responded the mandatory questions. Limit of one entry per email address. Multiple entries for the same email address will be considered void.
  3. ELIGIBILITY
    The Giveaway is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario, who have reached the age of majority in their respective province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of the COAST APPLIANCES and immediate family members or persons living under the same roof are not eligible to enter this Giveaway.
  4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES
    A total of one Miele Vacuum Cleaner will be awarded to one winner. 
    The Miele Vacuum Cleaner in Black Countertop Coffee Maker in Silver - 41USE038CDN is valued at Sale price $599.99. The winners will arrange pick-up at one of Coast Appliance's stores, as determined by Coast Appliances. Any other costs related to the prize are the winners' responsibility. COAST APPLIANCES reserves the right to publish winner’s first name and likeness on social media.
  5. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING THE PRIZE
    ONE winner will be chosen at random in the first 10 business days of the following month. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. The winner will be sent an email with information on how to receive the prize. Every winning entry will be verified.
    Each winner will be contacted by email and must respond within 15 days to confirm receipt of communication. In failing to do so, the winner forfeits the prize.
    Facebook and Instagram are in no way associated with this Giveaway.
  6. GENERAL RULES
    6.1. To be declared a winner, the selected participant must reply to email within 15 days, correctly answer a skill-testing question, sign and return a release. In failing to do so, the winner forfeits the prize.
    6.2. Each winner shall sign a release declaring their eligibility as stipulated in Section 2 of these rules; agreeing that their first name and likeness may be used for advertising purposes related to this Giveaway free of charge; and releasing Coast Appliances, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees (the “Giveaway Parties”) from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Giveaway or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
    6.3. The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited.
    6.4. If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Coast Appliances reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value, as determined in its sole discretion.
    6.5. Refusal to accept the prize releases the Giveaway Parties from any obligation toward the winner.
    6.6. If a participant makes any false statement, (s)he will be automatically disqualified from the Giveaway.
    6.7. The Giveaway Parties assume no liability for any loss, damage or injury, including without limitation: (i) lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late, destroyed, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) loss, theft or damage to software or computer or telephone data, including any breach of privacy; (iii) fraudulent calls; (iv) inability of any person to participate in the Giveaway for any reason including mistaken addresses on mail or email; technical, computer or telephone malfunctions or other problems with computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software; congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing; (v) damage to any person’s computer, including as a result of playing or downloading any material relating to the Giveaway; or (vi) prizes that are lost, damaged or misdirected during shipping.
    6.8. Coast Appliances reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Giveaway should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Giveaway. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Coast Appliances reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
    6.9. All personal information, such as name and contact information, is collected by Coast Appliances for the purposes of administering this Giveaway and marketing communications as agreed in entry form and shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent.     6.10. If the identity of a participant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the participant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected participant may be required to provide proof that (s)he is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Giveaway will be the Giveaway server.
    6.11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Coast Appliances. Coast Appliances is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Giveaway.
    6.12. Coast Appliances reserves the right to amend the Giveaway rules or to terminate the Giveaway at any time without any liability to any participant. Any amendments to these Giveaway rules will be posted on the Website.
