Perfection at Your Fingertips
The Sharp SuperSteam+ Built-in Oven is a hybrid convection oven that uses heat and water to cook. It has 5 high-performance cooking modes including Steam, Steam Bake, Convection Bake, Super Steam Grill, and Super Steam Roast. The combination of superheated steam and conventional, radiant heat in cooking modes means that your food will be crispy and browned on the outside, moist and delicious on the inside.
How Cooking with Superheated Steam Works
The Sharp SuperSteam+ Built-in Oven uses a Hybrid Convection System that circulates the hot air, steam, and super steam through a damper duct system. Heat is delivered through the upper and back of the oven, as well as the top of the oven. Unlike conventional radiant ovens, convection ovens have a fan that continuously circulates air through the oven cavity. When hot air is blown onto food, as opposed to merely surrounding it, the food tends to cook more quickly.
Take the Guesswork Out of Cooking
Sharp's steam oven's benefits go beyond cooking options. The oven's interface gives you expert guidance to make mindful and delicious meals you will love. Our Smart Cook feature offers built-in recipes and pre-set cook options that take the guesswork out of cooking while the Manual settings put you in control of the oven.
Why Use Superheated Steam
Simple steam only reaches 212°F, but the SuperSteam+ also creates super-heated steam at 485°F. Meats and proteins will brown. Sugars will caramelize. You can grill without smoke, and roast without drying.
Steam Cook Mode
Steam Cook mode allows you to create delectable vegetable-based dishes as well as cook delicate fish and meats with ease. Pure steam retains nutrients and moistness. This cooking mode is ideal when you are testing your tastebuds with dishes that include broccoli, salmon, cod, and chicken.
Steam Keep Warm Mode
Steam Keep Warm mode is your go-to mode for family dishes such as casseroles, vegetables, and quiches that you want to retain moisture while keeping warm.
Steam Refresh Mode
Steam Refresh mode restores the original freshness to leftover dishes such as French bread, hamburger, brown rice, spaghetti noodles and broccoli making your leftovers more like second helpings.
Convection Bake Mode
Convection Bake mode makes it possible to bake traditional and convenience food items such as cookies, cakes, biscuits, pizzas and chicken nuggets using dry heated air that circulates evenly throughout the oven.

At Coast we offer complete coordination with Professional Appliance Installers who have been trained and certified to ensure your new appliance is installed correctly. Installation is arguably the most important step to the process as there are several details that an untrained installer can overlook. In fact, some of our manufacturers go as far as to add an extra year of warranty to their products if you have them installed by one of their certified installers! We want to make sure you have years of trouble-free service, so we highly recommend coordinating with one of recommended third party installation firms.
A recommended Professional Installer can complete several types of installations, including:
- Dishwashers
- Washer & Dryer
- Built-In Cook tops and Wall Ovens
- Gas and Dual Fuel Ranges
- Built-In Refrigerators
- Water Lines for Refrigerators
- Ventilation
- Outdoor Grills
- Microwaves and Trim Kits
Some of the installations firms we recommend offer complete delivery service, removal of the old appliances and complimentary onsite consultations to make sure the models chosen will work with the space available. A few of them even offer cabinet and counter modifications (some limitations apply) allowing for an easy transition between your old and new appliance. Let Coast help you with this final step by coordinating with one of their recommended installers.
